Debut Album

Latium Entertainment opened its doors January 1, 1999 and has since proven itself to be the premiere source for english speaking latin artists and more. After a successful career in radio in the 90's, its founder Charles Chavez along with his wife Debra named Latium with the dream that one day they can take latin artists platinum. Through their radio contact, producer background, and ears for a hit record, Latium has proven to be a force in the industry. Initially a true "independent" record label, the first regional signings along with the Latin World Hip Hop series, Latium sold over 200,000 units through now defunct distributor Southwest Wholesale. Charles then took a job with Interscope, (before moving on to MCA then Geffen Records) as a promotion executive, while he took his company into more of a management direction. That led to the company's initial mainstream success.
