Chapter 1
Kaci walks through the front door.
"Justin!" Kaci yells throughout the house, looking for her older brother. "Justin!"
"I'm in the computer room Jess," Justin says, annoyed that his sister has brought friends home.
Kaci has brought her friends Kim and Staci home from school to hang out for a while. Justin, however, has invited his friend (and bandmates) Jackie and Lucas over for a recording session for their follow-up to "...So Tight," which was a major success.
"Jess, can I talk to you for a minute?"
"I'll be right back guys," Kaci tells Kim and Staci.
Kaci and Justin go outside to the patio to talk.
"Why'd you have to bring them home with you?" asks Justin.
"Uh, well, Staci is Jackie's cousin!"
"Okay, but what about Kim? She isn't anybody's relative that I know of."
"Uh, she's Nick's sister J, so just chill. We were going to go upstairs or out back in the pool. If Jackie and Lucas want to join us instead of being in the studio with you, you'd have to talk to them about that, not me!"
"How'd you know?"
"I heard you talking very loudly to them."
"So, what did you have to tell me? It sounded important since you walked in the house and started looking for me."
"Guess who was at school today?"
"I don't know!"
"Just guess!"
"Ummm..."
"Okay, obviously you didn't hear me last night. Michael Yo was at school today!"
"Who's Michael Yo?"
"Ugh J, you're such a pain! You'll find out soon enough because he invited me, Kim and Staci to the studio and you're coming with us. My orders!"
The house phone rings and Lucas comes out with the phone in his hand.
"Jess, it's for you."
"Who is it Luke?"
"I don't know. He said you would know."
"Uh no."
"May I ask who's speaking?"
"It's Mike."
"Jess, it's Mike."
"Oh yeah, I forgot he was going to call today!"
Kaci grabs the phone from Lucas and goes back inside. Kaci goes upstairs to her room and Kim and Staci follow.
"Who is it Kaci?"
"It's Mike."
"What's up with you two, you guys were pretty buddy-buddy today."
"Nothing!" insists Kaci.
"Yeah, whatever," Kim insists.
"You guys can go online if you want," Kaci says as she walks out to her balcony for some privacy.
Kim and Staci sign online and see that Michael is also online, so they IM him to find out what's up between him and Kaci, while they are talking.
"What's up baby?" asks Mike.
"Kim and Staci are over and J has Jackie and Luke over."
"Oh well, am I interrupting anything?"
"No, but I didn't think you were going to call this soon!"
"Oh."
"Kim and Staci are suspicious as it is, and now they're even more suspicious. You're not online, are you?"
"Yeah I am."
"Shit!"
"What?"
"They're going to IM you! Put an away message on or sign off!"
"Why? I like talking to them. They're ... interesting!"
Kim and Staci sign on to Staci's AIM (JackieBaby) and IM Michael on his AIM (YoShowY100).
JackieBaby: Hey Mike!
JackieBaby: It's Staci, Kaci's friend
JackieBaby: and Kim, her other friend
JackieBaby: What's up?
Michael is still talking to Kaci, so he bring sup the IM he just received.
"Baby, they IMed me, what should I do?"
"I told you, but if you want to talk to them, then talk to them."
Still on the phone with Kaci, Michael responds to the IMs sent my Staci and Kim.
YoShowY100: Hey guys!
JackieBaby: R U still on the phone with Kaci?
"Kaci, they're asking if I'm still on the phone with you! Are they jealous or something?"
"I don't know. I don't really like talking about it."
YoShowY100: Yeah
JackieBaby: O
YoShowY100: really?
JackieBaby: Well, y don't u come over to J & Kaci's house so we all can hang out
"Kaci, would you mind if I came over?"
"Why?"
"Just to hang out. Or is Justin too busy and won't let anyone over?"
"J is in the buest house with Jackie and Lucas recording. He was pissed because Kim and Staci came home with me."
"So can I come over or not?"
"If you want to..."
YoShowY100: I wouldn't be able to stay long thought cos I have the show to do tonight!
JackieBaby: Well, can't we be your guest DJs or something?
"Baby, if I come to the house, I couldn't stay long."
"I know. You have your show to do."
"BUT, I could bring you guys to the studio with me and you guys be my guest DJs. That is if you want to."
"But I told J that he has to come with us when we do that!"
"You'll be able to do it again, but I want to see you!"
"That's cool. When will you be here?"
"Well, I'm at the station right now, so if I left right now, it'd be at least half an hour."
"So do you want me to hang up so you can leave and come pick me up?"
"Okay. I love you. I will see you soon."
"I love you too. Bye baby."
Kaci and Michael hang up with each other and Michael leaves the station to come and pick Kaci and her friends up to be his guest DJs. Kaci walks back inside her room and over to Kim and Staci.
"I see you guys were talking to Mike when I told you not to."
"Is there something wrong with us talking to him?" Kim questions, trying to get something out of Kaci.
"Are you jealous Kaci?" Staci asks, with the same intentions in hand.
"No, just he;s busy and he has the show tonight, so now he's coming to pick me up."
"What for?"
"To go back to the studio with him."
"For what?" asks Staci.
"IM him and find out, since you guys like talking to him online," Kaci says getting really annoyed with Kim and Staci and their questioning of her and Mike.
